Microsoft’s Copilot is now on Telegram
Microsoft AI-chatbot -- Copilot-- is now available on Telegram. Copilot’s integration within the instant messaging app brings more than just a chatbot. Microsoft, on its website, has confirmed that the Copilot within Telegram app will offer users the option to ask a wide range of queries related to topics like travel tips, sports and even movie recommendations and get answers using the Bing search engine.
Microsoft Copilot in Telegram is now rolling out to all users globally and users can updated their Telegram app to get the feature via Google Play Store or Apple App Store depending on their device.
It is worth noting that Copilot on Telegram is currently limited to text-based responses.
It does not support image or video generation as of now. Microsoft has not yet confirmed whether or not these features will be coming to Telegram’s Copilot or not.

Voice cloning of political figures is still easy as pie
The 2024 election is likely to be the first in which faked audio and video of candidates is a serious factor. As campaigns warm up, voters should be aware: voice clones of major political figures, from the president on down, get very little pushback from AI companies, as a new study demonstrates.
The Center for Countering Digital Hate looked at six different AI-powered voice cloning services: Invideo AI, Veed, ElevenLabs, Speechify, Descript and PlayHT. For each, they attempted to make the service clone the voices of eight major political figures and generate five false statements in each voice.

Autobiographer’s app uses AI to help you tell your life story
Can AI help you tell your story? That’s the idea behind a startup called Autobiographer, which leverages AI technology to engage users in meaningful conversations about the events in their lives and how they felt about them, and then turns those into prose, effectively creating your own autobiography.
The startup is dabbling in an area that’s been fraught with debate — many people have rebelled against the idea that AI could replace art, writing and other creative endeavors. But in Autobiographer’s case, the AI guides the user to tell their own story, in their own words, then organizes that into output that can be exported as a PDF, and perhaps, one day, bound and printed as well. In other words, it works more as a collaborator rather than the sole creator.
